The Silchar Medical College & Hospital remains the only referral hospital in the southern part of Assam and so, is the sole custodian of health care system of the entire Barak Valley. Being situated in a very strategic geographic location, it also renders its services to the ailing community of the neighbouring states like Mizoram, North Tripura, West Manipur and South Meghalaya.

Education Qualification : Master degree in Pharmacy / Clinical Pharmacology / Pharmacy Practice / Clinical Research Or Pharm.D/ MBBS / BDS from a recognised University/ Institute
No. of Post : 1 (one)
Salary : Rs.26,250/- per month
Desirable experience : 1 year experience in Pharmacovigilance and good knowledge of Computers.
Period of Engagement : The tenure of contract will be normally for a period of 1 year.
However if work and conduct of the staff is not found to be satisfactory during the contract tenure, the services may be terminated at any time without assigning any reason thereoff.
A walk-in-interview will be conducted at the Administrative Building of Silchar Medical College & Hospital on 15 February 2021 from 11.00 A.M. onwards in the Adverse Drug Reactions Monitoring Centre (AMO at SMC&H. Silchar under NCC-PvPI. Interested candidates are requested to attend for walk-in- interview with all the original documents.
