Job Description

The position available is for a Management Trainee within the Motion Business Area of the Traction Division, located in Bangalore, India. As a Management Trainee, you will report to the Sales Manager and be responsible for supporting product costing, localization, second source initiatives, and ensuring product profitability.

Responsibilities:

Analyze top-level requirements and utilize electrical software like MatLab to perform initial sizing of equipment through simulation.
Collaborate with customers to finalize specifications, oversee product development, obtain design/FAI approval, and ensure product performance and reliability.
Prepare and manage technical bidding documentation, including design documents, RAMS requirements, simulation reports, and other supporting materials.
Work closely with the sales, marketing, engineering, and service teams to develop bids, create new proposals for business expansion, and manage the product life cycle.
Assist in creating engineering documentation such as design documents, test specifications, test reports, etc. Conduct training sessions on new offerings for internal teams and customers.
Support the resolution of customer offering issues and accompany internal partners to customer sites.

Requirements:

Hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, expected to graduate in 2022/2023.
Maintain an aggregate score of 60% or above across all previous semesters, with no backlogs.
Possess basic knowledge of power electronics, rectifier, and inverter topology.
Demonstrate a strong ability to innovate and a desire for continuous improvement.
Understanding of train/vehicle-level operation and system engineering related to the traction chain is considered advantageous.
Capable of motivating others and leading a team.
